How Can I Become A Member?

You may become a member of Kingdom Believers by your acknowledgement that Jesus Christ is Lord of your life; and that you have trusted Him alone for salvation; or you are willing to seek Christ for salvation. Here are the steps to membership: Call and speak with Dr. Bishop at: 757-243-4774

1. Submit a Membership Registration form. Then, present yourself for membership at any time or during a worship service.

A minister will invite anyone who wishes to become a member to the front of the church. A minister will be there to greet you and pray with you. A member of our church family will visit with you to record some information. You will need to express your desire for membership in one of the following ways:

By baptism and profession of faith

If you have never received Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior and/or publicly acknowledged or confessed him, you will be given an opportunity to do so, and we will set a time for you to be baptized.

By A letter of transfer from your previous church

If you are currently a member of another Christian church, we will receive you as a member with the promise of a letter from that church.

By your Christian experience

If you previously made a profession of faith and have been baptized by immersion; and are currently walking in faith and ministry, we honor and welcome you.
