Pastor's Salutation

Greetings and God’s choice blessings be with you.

   I am so excited about what the Lord is doing in this season. Many of you have expressed the same. I thank you for the outpouring of your support. I am humbled to have been chosen to initiate such a task.

   I am excited to share with you the vision of KingdomBelievers Elevation Worship Center. Our most prominent aspiration is DISCIPLESHIP. It is my belief that the contemporary church must refocus its efforts on winning souls for Christ and preaching the unadulterated gospel. While I am willing to embrace many of the themes of our contemporary church, I will not compromise the Message of the Cross and the traditional themes that brought us through and serve as our foundation for spiritual growth.

    I am absolutely compelled to establish and foster a body of believers who aspire to growth in their Christian walk and are authentic in worship and praise, not because they want something from God, but because they desire to establish and maintain a personal relationship with Keeper of their soul.

Unfolding Kingdom Visions (UKV) is the name of our church planting campaign. After much prayer and consideration LaTonya and I have set out to perform the task of planting a church in the Hampton Roads area.

There are several stages to the task and the first stage is to establish a leadership team of a certain number of people who are filled with the Holy Spirit who can “see” the vision and are ready, willing and able to assist in implementing the strategies set forth. We are well on our way to the designated number of people.

The next step will be to have our initial meeting, at which I will formally present the vision and the proposal to those who have expressed interest in the startup. We will then vote in our officers, file any necessary paperwork with the city and formally begin our mission.

   Our main objective is to implement strategies that effectively fulfill our mission.   Our mission incorporates the task of ushering non-believers into the knowledge of saving grace of Jesus Christ; challenging the mature believer to maximize his/her faith walk across all domains; and supporting the Christian pioneer in his/her spiritual commission. In all things we implore the gift of the Holy Spirit, which imparts guidance and direction essential for living a fruitful life in Christ Jesus.

   I solicit your continued prayers for our leadership team as we embark on such an awesome task. I also invite you and your family to join with us as we begin our mission to unfold "Kingdom" visions.
